The Trajectory camera provides a moving guide lines (yellow ) to show the driver the intended path of travel when he turns the steering. This is only guide and the driver should not be too dependent on what he sees on the HU.
The system consist of a harness with a special camera and trajectory module.

The only way to calibrate the Camera is to use the VAS PC software...i.e. VAS5054A and the Calibration Tool VAS6350 which cost about US$1750 !

Had did some improvisation and managed to get the calibration done none the less !

In Phase 2, if wrong data are keyed into the calibration process, i.e. camera height, template height and distance....the process would end in error message " Input Data Beyond Calibration Value" .

To give you an idea of the work involved in the actual workshop calibration involved, you may want to watch this Chinese video ( only one I could find )....does not need to understand Chinese.....video is self explanatory.
