Rear Vent Pocket Holder

I swear ! I have never used it even once as drinking and eating is not permitted in the car !  Decided to get rid of it !

I mean the central console drink holder below the air vent.  It is literally useless ! It cannot be opened completely because of the 3M carpet that is lying across the tunnel floor.  The door can only open about 80% so, it is also impossible to use it as a cup holder in the first place.

Found this original VW part to replace it.  Now....at least it is a useful pocket for contain some small items such as tissue packs,  sunglasses,  small handphone...etc.
